We live in a hugely diverse world with so many spoken languages all around us; it is therefore inevitable that we will on occasion come across barriers in communication due to language skills.
We are focused on ensuring that our crews have the right tools for the job; it is with this in mind that we are happy to announce that crews have direct access to a translation service from the ambulance provided by Language Line to lower the language barrier and support patient centred care. The translation service is easy to use with a single phone number to access the service. A full guide has been published to the mobile devices for quick reference.
